How to Apply: Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Create Your Own Copy of the Application

First, you need to make a personal, editable copy of the grant application.

  • Click here to view the application template
  • You will not be able to edit this original document. From the menu at the top, click File > Make a copy.
  • Rename your copy (e.g., “Jane Doe – Grant Application”) and save it to your own Google Drive.

Step 2: Complete Your Application

Open your new copied document and fill out all the required sections. Your work will be saved automatically in your Google Drive as you type. Please be as detailed as possible in your responses.

Step 3: Download Your Completed Application as a PDF

Once your application is finalized, you must download it as a PDF.

  • In your Google Doc, go to the menu and click File > Download > PDF Document (.pdf).
  • Save the PDF file to a location on your computer where you can easily find it, like your Desktop or Downloads folder.

Step 4: Submit Your PDF Application Below

Complete the form below with your information. When you reach the file upload section, select the PDF of your application that you just saved. Click “Submit” to finalize your entry.

You will see a confirmation message on the screen after a successful submission.
