Transforming Teachers: "Fund For Teachers" Can Make Dream Trip Reality

Fund for Teachers, a national nonprofit, and BCPEF appreciate the dynamic as teachers experience the world first hand enriching and empowering their teaching. Fund For Teachers is offering BCS and CCS teachers fellowships to travel the U.S. or across the globe in search of cultural enrichment, new teaching methods and exciting, creative ideas for the classroom.

The partnership between with the national Fund for Teachers program and PEF (Chattanooga) has been extended to BCPEF and the Cleveland/Bradley County teachers for the first time this year.  In the last two years almost 60 HCDE (Hamilton County) teachers were awarded summer grants for travel, study and learning, valued at up to $5,000 for an individual teacher or $10,000 for a team.
